Digital Dental X-ray
In-clinic digital imaging gives an instant, clear view of teeth and roots for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, without sending you to a separate lab.

Why digital X-rays
Digital sensors (RVG) need much less radiation than old film X-rays and show the image on screen within seconds. We can zoom in on a root or a cavity and show you exactly what we see, so you understand your treatment.
What it helps diagnose
Hidden decay between teeth, infection at the root tip, bone levels before implants, canal length during root canal treatment, impacted wisdom teeth and gum bone loss.
Benefits
Much less exposure than film X-rays.
Images on screen in seconds.
No trip to an outside lab.
See and understand your own X-ray.
What to expect
Sensor placement
A small sensor is placed in the mouth.

Review

Questions patients ask
Are dental X-rays safe during pregnancy?
X-rays are avoided in pregnancy unless needed for an emergency. Always tell us if you are pregnant.
Do children need X-rays?
Only when needed to check decay or growing teeth. Digital X-rays keep the dose very low.
Every patient is different. Dr. Aravinth will confirm the right treatment, number of visits and cost after examining you.
